Managed transportation and travel for the 2015 World Games. Which involved directing activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking various types of transportation vehicles. While monitoring operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations. In addition to developing various routes and transportation systems which included creating signage and way finding systems. In addition to analyzing data in traffic to determine transportation shuttle schedules and frequencies. While managing a budget of 10 million and making revisions from feedback from local, state, federal officials, the Special Olympics, and insuring compliance.
 

 

Facts:

 

  • Was the largest sporting event to come to Los Angeles since the 1984 Summer Olympics.

  • Was the largest humanitarian event in the world at the time. 

  • Involved transporting over 7,000 athletes from over 180 countries to various host cities and venues throughout California. 

  • Games were broadcasted for the first time in over 180 countries on ABC & ESPN.
